The World Floral Expo comes to the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center in Rosemont, March 26-28! Flower growers from Ecuador, Colombia, Kenya, Ethiopia and many other countries will be displaying fresh cut flowers ready for immediate shipping, both through individual stands as well country pavilions. The show is free and meant for convenience store owners, craft stores, flower importers, retail florists, home and garden centers and pharmacy chains—any business involved in the trade of fresh cut flowers.
The World Floral Expo presents Dutch Champion and master flower designer Martin Groen and his team, giving floral design demonstrations during all show days. The team will show the latest trends in flower designing and hold a panel discussion on “changing fresh flower distribution channels.” Demonstration booths include: Blooming of Beloit, a flower farm specializing in prairie wildflowers and imported flowers from Israel; the California Association of Flower Growers, presenting flowers special to the state; Flora Eterna, a summer flower specialty business from Ecuador; and Rose breeder Frank Roses America Inc., displaying the latest rose hybrids.
